ABOUT ME
My name is Ákos Kocsány. I am a photographer based in Vienna, originally from Budapest, Hungary. My interest and passion for visual storytelling has been a lifelong pursuit, but I have been actively practicing photography and related forms of expression in fact since 2020.

What fascinates me most about this art form is the ability to capture real, unstaged, objective scenes of our everyday lives that can never be replicated. Photography, to me, is about preserving the authenticity of life as it unfolds as well as feeding my curiosity towards people. Before delving into photography, I almost did not comprehend at all, what is really happening around me out on the streets, which has changed immensely lately.

Ever since I acquired my first Sony Alpha camera, it has become a constant companion on the streets wherever I may go. My passion has only deepened over time, leading me to explore new areas of the field, including nature, landscapes, architecture, portraits, and, most recently, videography. As I continue to refine the craft, I remain driven by the pursuit of compelling and timeless imagery.
