'WERBUNG', my debut full-scale street photography exhibition is to be displayed in ISON Budapest!

The body of work featured in Ákos Kocsány’s debut solo photography exhibition presents a compelling series of street scenes captured in Vienna. Ákos juxtaposes everyday urban moments with familiar elements of street advertising and visual communication. The result is an aesthetic and thought-provoking narrative, at times infused with subtle humor that invites viewers to reconsider the interplay between public life and commercial messaging in the urban landscape.

Ákos has been living in Vienna for five years now and has been seriously involved in photography for about the same amount of time. In this form of self-expression, among many other things, he is mostly concerned with capturing individual, 'unrepeatable' moments and presenting them in an objective, unmanipulated way, the latter of which is truly in short supply these days.
